Our participation in Africa’s most important mining event allowed us to establish key alliance with Zambia, the Republic of Congo, and Australia, as well as to spark international interest in our work on gender equity in the industry.

Weeks after our presence at Mining Indaba 2025, we continue expanding opportunities and consolidating strategic connections in key markets for Chilean mining. Durin the event, we established fundamental agreement that reinforce our international projection and generate new opportunities for the sector.

Our participation in Mining Indaba 2025 is part of the Thechnological Market Network for the Commercialization of Exportable Offering from Supplier Companies of the II Region program (Code: 24REDME-248083-2), a project supported by Comité Corfo Antofagasta and managed by Gedes – Chile.

Several companies from the region participated in this Market Network program, including NOVAMINE, EMESER, Radiadores Gómez, MANLIM SPA, and Agencia Redes, all committed to the expansion and international collaboration of Chilean mining.

Melissa Gajardo, Executive Director of Comité Corfo de Antofagasta, highlighted the importance and relevance of these instruments for the internationalization of regional companies.
“These instruments are key for our supplier companies to explore and position themselves in international markets. Through these initiatives, we not only strengthen the presence of Chilean mining abroad but also create strategic networks that enhance innovation and the sector’s competitiveness,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Paola Quezada, founder and general manager of Agencia Redes, valued the opportunity to participate in her first event in Cape Town and second event on the African continent.
“It has been fruitful as we have been able to connect with many organizations and influential high-level executives. We held meetings with Botswana, the Republic of the Congo, and Zambia, where we signed a formal alliance with Copperbelt, a media outlet that covers the five countries producing the most copper on the continent. This allows us to strengthen the mining industry in Antofagasta and Chile,” she concluded.

One of the most significant milestones of this initiative was the alliance with Copperbelt Katanga Mining in Zambia, a specialized media outlet covering the copper industry in five African countries. This agreement, initially established at Electra Mining 2024 in Johannesburg, was formalized in person at Mining Indaba 2025, consolidating a key communication channel to connect Chilean mining with the African market.

Additionally, in the Republic of the Congo, we not only strengthened relationships with local entities to enhance the visibility of Chilean mining suppliers but also generated significant interest in our efforts toward gender equity in the mining industry. During our discussions, the importance of promoting female participation in the sector was highlighted, opening new opportunities for collaboration in this area.

Furthermore, we finalized an alliance with Paydirt Media, a renowned Australian mining media outlet, expanding our presence in one of the most relevant global markets. This agreement allows us to boost the internationalization of Chilean companies in Oceania and strengthen connections with one of the world’s most advanced mining industries.

At Agencia Redes, we continue to advance our mission of promoting the internationalization of the Chilean mining sector and building bridges that connect our industry to the world. These strategic alliances in Africa and Australia are just the beginning of new opportunities for growth, innovation, and inclusion in global mining.
