We are proud to announce that the Technology Outreach Program “Female Mining Entrepreneurs to the Next Level,” promoted by Agencia Redes with the support of the Corfo Antofagasta Committee, has been featured in the prestigious African magazine Copperbelt Katanga Mining, an international mining media outlet that gathers and disseminates specialized information from the five main copper-mining countries on the African continent.

The outreach program is being carried out within the framework of the alliance between Agencia Redes and CKM, given previous visits to South Africa. A cooperation agreement was formalized in February to promote the mining industry, both in Chile and Africa.

The published article highlights how a transformation toward equity in the mining and energy industries is being promoted from northern Chile through the strengthening of 30 women-led companies. These entrepreneurs are innovating in key areas such as renewable energy, the circular economy, applied technology, industrial services, manufacturing, logistics, and sustainability, among others.

This international publication not only highlights regional talent, but also confirms that what we are building in Chile is resonating in other parts of the world and that female leadership in mining is already part of the industry’s present and future.

Thank you to all the entrepreneurs who are paving the way toward more inclusive and sustainable mining!
